Dear fellow traveller, are you planning to visit Czech Republic? I'm sure you don't want to miss the capital city, Prague! There are so much you do here, like finding Seven Tall High Segmund, watching puppet opera, and visiting Prague Castle. So yes, you should put this famous city on your destination list. Here are top 5 things you could do while in Prague, check it out! ;)
1. Stroll Across the famous Charles Bridge
During my stay in Prague, I was lucky that I stayed in quite strategic place which was in the heart of Prague. From my place I walked down the streets and in short time, I reached the famous bridge in Prague, Charles Bridge. This bridge was comissioned in 1357 and a walk across this iconic bridge could be on of your enjoyable and memorable experiences while in Prague. Here you could also see landmark stone bridge, street artists and entertainers. This bridge might be crowded but the view of Vitava River will make it worth for you to pass this bridge through. Speaking of Vitara River, take a boat tour accross this river could be your option after exploring Charles Bridge.
2. Stroll Down The Blackstreets of Mala Strana
This streets are located across the river from old town. This area, also called "The Lesser Quarter" was built in the 17th and 18th century.
Here you can find small shops, traditional Czech pubs, restaurants, casual eateries and hotels. You can also enjoy fantastic views of the river.
Mala strana itself means "The little side of the river". It was a dominant center of ethnic German of Prague. There are also some nobel palaces in this area.
3. Visit Petrin Hill
To reach this interesting place, you could stroll 30 minutes up to Petrin hill, it might be tiring and the climb is steep, but the walk is pleasant. You will walk pass the gardens and wooden area, and you will for sure get a chance to see beautiful view of Prague from above. At the top of Petrin Hill you will see The Observation Tower. Climb the 299 steps to reach the top of the tower and you will see magnificent view over Prague.
4. Explore The Old Town Square
Old town sqaure is the perfect place to admire the wonderful architechture of Prague. Some historical buildings are located in this place such as Old town Hall and Gothic Church of Our Lady Before Tyn and Saint Nicholas Church. There are also streets perfomers and merchants that will keep you entertained.
5. Visit The Dancing House
This house has a design unique, it resembles a pair of dancers. It located Vitava river and sorrounded by some historical buildings. The top floor of Dancing House is the only floor that open to public. From the top of this building you could see Charles Bridge, Prague Castle and other parts of Prague.
